Njord - The Autonomous Ship Challenge is a newly formed student organization at NTNU, which is designing and organizing an international student competition for autonomous ships. We have set a goal of carrying out the first pilot competition in August 2021.
Njord is currently developing at an ambitious rate and we are now looking for more students to join our team at this early stage. The available positions are listed below. We are mainly interested in full-time students at NTNU with comprehension of both Norwegian and English, and at least 1 year left of their studies. We want individuals who are structured, motivated and like to take action! Relevant previous experience is an advantage, however it is not a requirement. Estimated work time per week will be approximately 6-8 hours.

Looking for an exciting and challenging job in an innovative and forward leaning student organization? Are you eager to use your creativity and drive to contribute in developing an exciting challenge for students from all over the world, as well as developing a sustainable graphical profile?
As a part of our software team, you will become familiar with the innovative Unity platform running the simulations, and be tasked with tailoring a testing interface which will play an essential role in the competition.

Are you our new finance member? As part of our finance team you will assist in managing the economy of Njord as well as developing effective financial routines.
Would you like to help our organisation get in contact with leading companies in the maritime industry?
Would you like to learn more about how to organize large events with numerous components and many people involved?
In Njord we organize some smaller events throughout the year, ranging from galla dinners with sponsors to inspirational talks and student cases competitions.
We need someone who can help our logistics team with planning the layout of the physical competition. You will work with the rest of the team to ensure that the competition will be a success both for the teams and spectators.
We are reaching out to motivated individuals who want to learn more of the technical aspects of an autonomous ship challenge. As part of the technical specifications team you will work with building and testing our autonomous vessel.
Would you like to get hands-on experience with planning and executing larger events? Do you want to challenge yourself on making the competition run as smoothly as possible?
A key element for the competition is to create and sustain a smooth correspondence with teams. In the role as technical communicator you will be the link between the technical team and participating teams.
