Njord - The Autonomous Ship Challenge is a newly formed student organization at NTNU, which is designing and organizing an international student competition for autonomous ships. We have set a goal of carrying out the first pilot competition in August 2021.

Njord is currently developing at an ambitious rate and we are now looking for more students to join our team at this early stage. The available positions are listed below. This is a unique opportunity to put your own mark on the competition and create something new for Trondheim, NTNU and the world. We are looking for students who want to form the team, and make the competition in 2024 as great as possible.

The available positions are listed below. This is a unique opportunity to set your own mark on the competition and be a part of an innovative and forward-leaning student organisation. If this sounds exciting, do not hesitate to apply, you may be exactly who we're looking for!




We are mainly interested in full-time students at NTNU with comprehension of both Norwegian and English, and at least 1 year left of their studies. We want individuals who are structured, motivated and like to take action! Relevant previous experience is an advantage, however it is not a requirement. Estimated work time per week will be approximately 6-8 hours. Feel free to contact us if you have any questions!
