We are seeking a new Head of Software to lead the development of software for our autonomous ship. The successful candidate will oversee the design, development, testing, and deployment of software for our autonomous ships and manage a team of suitable students. Key responsibilities include designing and developing software solutions for our autonomous ship, integrating our Unity-based simulator and recently purchased hull and propulsion system into the software development process, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards in the maritime industry. As Head of Software, you will also have the main responsibility for the Digital competition, which takes place in our simulator.
