From August 11th to 15th, the Njord Autonomous Ship Challenge 2025 unfolded in Nyhavna, Trondheim.
This year marked our third in-person edition of the competition, featuring 11 dedicated teams representing 8 different countries. The effort, innovation, and creativity shown throughout the week were truly remarkable, and we are deeply impressed by what each team achieved.
We are proud to announce that Navier USN from Norway claimed first place — for the second consecutive year! AGH Solar Boat Team from Poland secured an impressive second place, while Técnico Solar Boat from Portugal rounded out the podium in third.

Beyond the main competition, several special awards were presented. Amore received the Team Spirit Award from the Njord committee, Navier USN was voted winner of The Sportsmanship Award by fellow competitors, and StrathVoyager was recognized for Best Team Presentation, also chosen by peer voting.
A huge thank you goes out to all the participating teams — your hard work and enthusiasm made this event a true success.
